If you follow me on Instagram (@snm321), you've already seen this pic from this morning. If not, let me fill you in. This is us at the pediatrician this morning. On the way there to have Maddie listened to for her cough and fever, Mason threw up all over himself. I had to pull over. I had to undress him on the side of the road and clean puke with the wipes I had on hand. Also, I did not have a change of clothes in the car for him (side note: this is my 3rd kid. Haven't I learned to keep extra clothes for him in the car by now?!?!?!). So, I stripped him down to a diaper and socks, put a jacket on his torso and used his other sweater (pictured above) as "pants." Yep, I put his legs through the armholes and he is here in the waiting room yelling " I DON'T LIKE THESE PANTS!" while removing them.
As we checked in at the dr. I notified them that Maddie has a cough and they said because of her age she is required to wear a mask. The tears were instant followed by her yelling "I DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A DENTIST!"
At least Grace made it to school and we are now home hanging out taking antibiotics and eating saltines.
So, in an effort to be more mindful of all that is happening around me, I'm thinking that I should try to chronicle life by sharing one picture a day (sometimes words too) that at least capture a piece of what is going on here. Since today is the 21st, it is exactly 2 months until my 37th birthday. So, I commit to posting a picture (or more) each day from now until then..... A few years ago I decided to do a picture a day for a whole year. I've become way less ambitious; maybe even more realistic in my old age ;)
Tonight after dinner. He wears the Niners Helmet and uses his Ninja Turtle Sword at every meal. #classic #totallynormal
