18 months

Today is an important day around our house; Gabe has 18 months. Some may think that has flown by while others may think it feels like it's been longer; it's a bit of both. No matter how I look at it though, I'm amazed. There is serious perseverance at work here and I'm grateful. It isn't easy to get to where he is, but it's possible. It is definitely possible.

Congrats to Gabe. I know it must be a difficult feat. My soon to be sister-in-law was given an intervention yesterday morning. Though unbeknownst to our side of the family including her fiance'. I'm sure though for the reason that he's an enabler and a user too. It will be interesting to see what comes from this... I want her to get the help but in turn if she decides to stay sober this will most likely break up their relationship because he (I don't think) can do it. :(

@Laura-that sounds really intense. You'll have to let me know how it's going for both of them. @Rosana-thanks for the acknowledgment; too often us sidekicks go unnoticed for our work ;)@Lizzy-love ya :)
