Really these pics are from today because yesterday was just a tired, relaxed day.  Not always a lot to share on a sleepy Sunday.  But today we went to Oakland to see Aunt Lizzy, Uncle Justin and of course, Mac.  These 4 kiddos sort of live for the weekends when they all get to be together.  It makes my heart smile.

Today we went to the Oakland Zoo and had a blast.  I am realizing that I used to feel sort of "ugh, what do I do with these kids when there's no school?!?!?" and lately I feel the opposite.  I love when there's no school and we have no where to be and we are just together.  We can take it easy and go with the flow.  And on a deep level, I keep asking myself, "Isn't THIS what it's all about?!"  And I feel my head nodding, "yes.  yes it is."

Gracie is having a hard time lately.  She seems sad and unsure a lot.  My heart has been aching for her for months.  All I can think is "let me help you."  I would do anything for her.  Literally.  There is nothing she could ask me to do for her that I wouldn't.  She is my  happiness and I just want her to be okay.

It's been reminding me of how much God loves me.  That He sees me the way I see Grace.  That He wants nothing more than to help me; all day, every day.

So, I'm turning to my source of strength tonight.  Looking for answers to calm her worried mind.  All I know is that Surrender and Trust are all that I have.  And tonight that is enough.

Today was monumental.  It was the day MJ finally realized he needed to go potty in the potty and the same day my mom lost her mind ;)  

MJ has been trying and trying, but tonight something clicked about feeling like he needed to go and going.  It was awesome and we were all applauding him and yelling happy words while doling out     M&M's.  He was thrilled.

Then I went downstairs where my mom was making salad.  She looked at me 100% seriously and asked "Have you seen the avocado?!"  I thought she was kidding.  Until I realized she wasn't.  So I grabbed my phone to snap the pic to remember the moment she lost it.  

It was literally NEXT TO HER HANDS!  Hilarious and a good way to end a Monday!
