Love you, Clod

Thanks! We are super excited to be able to eat from it :) But you know how it is; you wait and wait and once it's time to harvest you wonder what to do with all those tomatoes!?! :) Love you.

You'll have to learn to 'can' them like your grandpa... or make some sugo and can/or freeze it. I'll have to send you a recipe for a polenta tomato tart. Yumm!

I hate to admit that I had no idea what sugo was! So, I just googled it and now completely understand. I have been listening to a book on cd for a while and she did a whole lesson on how to can tomatoes so I think I'm really going to give it a shot! Also going to make my own mozzarella at some point :)
